MiCaso Terms of Use

Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accessing PetitionPro or MiCaso, using the MiCaso mobile app, uploading documents, generating forms, using AI tools, requesting office services, or using any related feature, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
Software and education only
PetitionPro and MiCaso are software and educational tools. They do not provide legal advice, legal representation, attorney services, accredited representative services, immigration consulting services, or case strategy. They do not replace official USCIS notices, government instructions, attorney review, or accredited representative review.
No attorney-client relationship
Use of PetitionPro or MiCaso does not create an attorney-client relationship, representative-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, or legal services relationship between PetitionPro and any preparer, organization, client, applicant, petitioner, beneficiary, sponsor, spouse, family member, or other user.
No government affiliation
MiCaso and PetitionPro are independent platforms and are not affiliated with USCIS, DHS, the U.S. government, or any government agency. Government agencies may change forms, fees, rules, instructions, policies, processing times, and requirements at any time.
User responsibility
Users are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information entered into PetitionPro or MiCaso. Users are responsible for verifying identity, eligibility, names, dates, addresses, immigration history, family information, financial information, signatures, evidence, filing fees, edition dates, filing addresses, appointment details, deadlines, and all USCIS, Department of State, or government requirements before acting, filing, attending an appointment, or submitting anything.
Generated forms are drafts
Forms and documents generated by PetitionPro are draft outputs based on information provided by users. All generated forms must be carefully reviewed, corrected, completed, signed where required, and approved by the responsible preparer, attorney, accredited representative, organization, or client before filing. PetitionPro does not guarantee that generated forms are complete, correct, current, accepted, or appropriate for any specific case.
No guarantee of outcome
PetitionPro and MiCaso do not guarantee USCIS approval, Department of State acceptance, interview scheduling, work authorization, lawful status, immigration benefits, processing speed, filing acceptance, refund of government fees, appointment availability, or any government decision.
AI tools
AI features may provide general educational information, notice explanations, summaries, checklists, and preparation prompts. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for a specific case. Users should verify information against official notices and qualified professional guidance before relying on it.
Account security and organization access
Users are responsible for maintaining account security, protecting passwords and devices, limiting access to authorized users, assigning appropriate roles, and promptly deactivating users who should no longer access an organization or case. Organization owners are responsible for activity by users invited to their workspace.
MiCaso Plus, subscriptions, and billing
Paid plans, including MiCaso Plus, may be billed on a recurring subscription basis unless otherwise stated. By starting a paid plan, trial, or subscription, you authorize the applicable app store, payment processor, or PetitionPro to charge the payment method on file for applicable fees, taxes, renewals, and plan changes. Subscription features, usage limits, prices, and included users may vary by plan and purchase channel.
Trials, renewals, and plan changes
If a free trial is offered, billing may begin when the trial ends unless the subscription is canceled before the trial expiration. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Users may upgrade, downgrade, restore, or manage plans through the app store account, billing portal, or in-app management options made available for the purchase channel. Some changes may take effect immediately and others may take effect at the next billing period.
Cancellation policy
Users may cancel subscriptions through the applicable app store subscription settings, billing portal, or by contacting support@petitionpro.io when the subscription was purchased directly from PetitionPro. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically delete account data, case records, uploaded documents, or generated forms. Unless otherwise stated, access to paid features may continue until the end of the current paid billing period.
Refund policy
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once charged, except where required by law or expressly approved by PetitionPro. PetitionPro may review refund requests case by case, including duplicate charges or billing errors. Government filing fees, third-party fees, and expenses outside PetitionPro are not controlled by PetitionPro and are not refundable by PetitionPro.
Acceptable use
Users may not use PetitionPro to violate the law, upload malicious files, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform security, misuse client information, impersonate another person, share login credentials improperly, scrape the platform, or use PetitionPro in a way that harms clients, other users, the service, or PetitionPro.
Client portal use
Client portal links are intended for the specific client or case recipient. Preparers are responsible for sending links to the correct person and explaining what information is requested. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and reviewing any documents or forms shared by the preparer.
Third-party services
PetitionPro and MiCaso may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, AI processing, payments, email, notifications, analytics, support, or other platform operations. Use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Account deletion
Signed-in MiCaso users may request account deletion from inside the app through Profile or by visiting https://app.micasoapp.com/data-deletion. Deleting an account may remove the user account and certain profile data, but it may not cancel subscriptions purchased through an app store, and some information may remain where required for billing, legal, security, backup, or recordkeeping purposes.
Service availability and changes
PetitionPro may update, improve, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or compatibility with every browser, device, workflow, or government form update.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, PetitionPro and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, filing delays, government denials, rejected filings, missed deadlines, appointment issues, or immigration outcomes arising from use of the platform.
Termination
PetitionPro may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, suspected misuse, security risk, violation of these terms, legal requirement, or activity that may harm the platform or other users. Users may stop using the service and cancel their subscription at any time.
